Fierce is a painting from my personal collection.  I made this painting in 2018, a pivotal time during my painting journey when I was challenging myself more with humans and animals.   

When I composed this painting, I wanted to create that energy dynamic between Yolandi Vi$$er (from a band, Die Antword) and a Lioness.  Proud, powerful and feminine.
